MICHAEL A. IVERSON, Chairman & CEO

Michael Iverson has been President and Director of Triple K Ventures Ltd from March 1975 to the present. He has also served as President and Director of R.P.F. Custom Wood Fibre Ltd since 1985. In November 1997, Mr. Iverson joined Sasha Ventures Ltd., a public company serving as President and Director. In addition to these substantial positions, Mr Iverson has been Chairman, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Fortuna Silver Mines from March 1998 to December 2004 remaining as a board member to present. Mr. Iverson is also Chairman and Director of Niogold Mining Corp formally known as Moreno Ventures Inc. since 1998 to the present.

ROCK LEFRANÇOIS, P.Geo. President & COO

Rock Lefrançois is a professional geologist that brings strong technical and management skills to the Company. Mr. Lefrançois has over 20 years of experience in the search and valuation of various types of precious and base metal deposits across the North and Central American Cordilleras and the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. During his career he has served as senior geologist for mid-tier mining companies, notably Cambior and Aur Resources. His local knowledge of the Val d’Or and Malartic mining camps was an asset in acquiring key ground to build NioGold’s land package in the area.

MICHELE N. MARRANDINO, Director

Mr. Marrandino brings 20 years experience in fund raising and management consulting to NioGold’s Board of Directors. His diverse knowledge, experience and contacts in the oil & gas, mining and hi-tech private and public sectors of these industries have assisted many companies in reaching their potential and desired mandates.

TOBY LIM, Director

Toby Lim is called to the British Columbia Bar and has been an associate lawyer practicing securities and corporate law at Anfield Sujir Kennedy and Durno, a Vancouver based law firm, since 1998. He has worked with numerous public and private companies in relation to initial listings, financings, acquisitions, mergers, re-organizations and spin-off transactions, and has served as a director or officer of a number of public companies. He received his Bachelor of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in Ontario in 1996, and a Bachelor of Commerce with honours from the University of British Columbia in 1992.

DALE PARUK, Vice President Corporate Development

Dale is an experienced securities professional with 25+ years as a registered representative/investor relations officer. He has participated in funding over 100 companies. Dale coordinates the NioGold’s efforts in broadening the Company’s exposure to the investment community in particular mining analysts, retail brokers, investors and media.

Company History

NioGold Mining Corporation became a public company in 2003 through a restructuring of a public shell.

In 2004 several large and strategic gold properties in the Malartic-Val d'Or gold camp became available, and an acquisition rush was on.

Mike Iverson (CEO) joined forces with Rock Lefrancois (President), a professional geologist with local knowledge of the Val d'Or-Malartic mining camps, to acquire some key properties. Over the next two years, with Rock's connections and NioGold's financing ability, the Company continued to add to its substantial land holdings. Over a 3 year period the company acquired over 115 km2 (45 mi2) of land holdings, one of the largest land holdings in the area.

The adjoining Cadillac-Malartic-Val-d'Or gold camps have produced 45M oz gold with more than 50 previous producing mines and 8 currently operating mines. NioGold's Malartic project holds NI 43-101 compliant Indicated resources of 600,000 ounces gold in addition to Inferred resources of 360,000 ounces gold. The gold resources are defined along a three-kilometre segment of a regional gold mineralized fault zone, in and around the former Marban, Norlartic and Kierens gold mines, which collectively produced 600,000 ounces gold. NioGold controls a 20 km (12.5 miles) segment of this prospective fault zone. The Company plans continued aggressive drilling on these land holdings to expand the current resources and for new discoveries.

NioGold will also continue to drill on the Siscoe East property (8 km further to the east) where a high-grade discovery (1.9 m of 44 g/t Au) was made last summer. This property lines on-trend between two of the highest-grade past producers in the area; the Sullivan and Siscoe mines with total production of nearly 2M oz gold.

NioGold has raised in excess of $15,000,000 in the past 5 years and the Company is proud of the fact that in excess of $12,000,000 has been directed to drilling and surface exploration of its properties.

NioGold is focused on gold discovery in Quebec, with its most advanced property the Malartic Mine development near Val d'Or. The Company has also recently acquired a large land position in Southern Quebec near the town of Thetford Mines in a developing gold camp.

Historical Background

Niogold Mining Corporation (the “Company” or “Niogold”) was incorporated pursuant to the Company Act (British Columbia) on March 30, 1988, under the name “Penn-Gold Resources Ltd.” On April 7, 1998, the Company consolidated its common shares on the basis of thirteen old for one new common share, increased its authorized share capital to 100,000,000 common shares and changed its name to “Moreno Ventures Inc.” On September 25, 2002, the Company consolidated its common shares on the basis of two and one-half old for one new common share, increased its authorized share capital to 100,000,000 common shares and changed its name to the present Niogold Mining Corp.
